Envelope Bridal Shower Theme Ideas, Printables, and Lots of Other Tips
This is the perfect bridal shower theme if the couple intends to move to another town or country, and prefers not to haul tons of bridal shower gifts with them.
If the couple prefers money or GC as gift, then this is also a good and subtle way of stating their preference, without aggravating their guests in the process. Of course this will not ensure that 100% of the guests will really give GC or cash, but this beats annoying your guests on this very special occasion, and will be a fun and a great opportunity to get their creative juices running.

Clues Treasure Hunt (Clean Fun/Naughty)
Since this is a bridal shower treasure hunt, treasures here should be related to the bride or getting married.
Start by dividing your guests into groups of at least 5. Ask one representative per group to pick out their color. The color assigned to them will define which of the clues should they locate.
Hidden in the game area are the items that come in each group’s color. Even the clues are color-coded. The clues and items with their color should be the only thing each group will be interested in.
Only the initial clue will be directly provided to each group. The rest they have to locate, so that finally, they could find all the hidden items that comes in their group's color. The group that could locate the most number of items within the time limit, wins the game. If all groups were able to finish on time, the one who was able to do so within the shortest time, wins the prize.
Clues could be a description of the item (eg. Pills - this is one of the more popular contraceptive) or about where it is located (eg. Bathroom – This is the bride ’s favorite room in the house).
Each group should be hunting for similar treasures. However, the location of where these treasures are hidden, and the order of how treasures are hunted, could be different between each group.
There should be connections between each clue and succeeding clues.
The unearthing of hidden treasures should follow the order assigned to the group. If Group 1 found Treasure 3, before they found Treasure 2, when their order states that Treasure 2 should come before Treasure 3, Treasure 3 will not be counted as their find, unless they find Treasure 2 as well.
Since this is an #10 Envelope shower, all clues should be placed inside a #10 Envelope.
Fill Me Up (Clean Fun)
Your guests already went through this exercise when they prepared their bridal shower gift, but let's see if they can be more creative in a group.
Your guests need to come up with gifts/ideas on what can the couple do after the wedding.
You can either require them to get the actual item and fill their #10 Envelope up, or just give them a piece of paper and write down ideas of their creative gift. If you choose the latter, the actual item should still have the right size such that it can fit inside a #10 envelope.
Bride-to-be gets to choose which group was able to come up with the best couple activity idea.
I Remember (Clean Fun/Naughty)
This is a fun game and will test everybody's memory. This will also be a great way of acquainting each guest with the other guests' names.
You need to prepare certain number items, such that there will be one corresponding item per guest. The items should be related to bride-to-be or getting married and everything should fit in a single #10 Envelope. Pills, hair clip, and ticket of bride & groom's favorite movie are just a few examples we can think of.
Randomly call each guest, and have them pick one of your prepared items. They need to state their name and the item they picked and place them inside an envelope.
After everybody placed an item in the envelope, inform your guests that they need to write down the name and the corresponding item of each guest. If you want to make this more challenging, tell your guests that they need to write them the order they were called.
The person with the most number of correct answers, wins the game!
Pass The Envelope (Clean Fun)
You need to prepare a gift that can be contained inside a #10 Envelope. You can go for GCs or just buy some movie tickets as your prize.
The idea is to pass the envelope from one guest to another, as long as the following conditions are met. You can use the following rhyme as is, but to make it more fun and custom fit to your guests, we suggest that you modify it a bit. The host needs to read through the said rhymes and see to it that they're followed accordingly. Before you begin, you need to pick a person who will hold the envelope at the start of the game:
1. Let's start this game without adieu, pass this envelope to the person wearing blue. If blue is not in sight, pass this to the 2nd person to your right
2. As this game becomes more exciting, pass this envelope to the person with the largest earring
3. Hurrah for this lady, give this to the girl who got married most recently
4. Now don't become attached to this token, since you need to send this to the person with the most number of children.
5. If you have most number of buttons in your dress, then you deserve this envelope as a sign of your success.
6. Now it's time to transfer this boon, pass this to somebody who is getting married soon
7. This gift is really pretty, and it needs to be passed to the lady who had a baby recently
8. We're nearly at the end of this game, pass this to your left and this gift is for her to claim.
If more than one person satisfies the criteria, we suggest that you always give this to the person nearest to the one currently holding the envelope. If there's still a tie, there's nothing like rock, paper and scissors to break a tie or two.
