Want to play our Spices and Herb Hunt? We think this is worth considering, whether you are having a cooking themed shower or not. So if you love the idea of asking your guests to hunt for words related to spices and herbs, then look no further since this game might just be what you want.
Just so you know, we also have another game which deals with spices and herbs, but that was designed as a bingo game. So depending on what you need for your event (we think a bingo game can be played longer, especially if you follow our tips on how to play said bingo game with appropriate twist), you may prefer the bingo game version over this, or vice versa. Since you know your event best, you can better decide which one to go for. But whether you go one way or the other, we think your guests will have lots of fun dealing with popular herbs like Rosemary and Thyme, to the less popular Costmary and Fenugreek.
We also have traditional bridal shower games which features words related to brides everywhere, weddings and bridal showers in general. If you decided that this is the better way to go, no worries, since we have such bridal shower games as well.

How to use our games for a bridal shower party:
Playing this game is pretty simple. The player who can find all the words found at the bottom of their card within the shortest amount of time is the winner. The words to be searched, as already mentioned above, are names of spices and herbs. Since not all cards are created equal, ask your guests to pick their card, to make sure there will be no question on fairness, especially since some cards will be more difficult to play than the others. Of course you can always resort to just asking everyone to use a similar card, since once you download a copy, you can print all the copies you want. We will leave to you to decide on which approach to take, since either one is possible, especially since we have provided different game cards just in case you want to go for the different game card per player approach.
We have also provided the answer key with each games for a bridal shower party for your reference and ease of game play.
As with the other aspects of your bridal shower, you have a choice whether to go for something theme-based, an active game or a pencil/paper one. Our theme-based bridal shower game and activities can be found with our other bridal shower theme ideas. Majority of said games require some preparation on your part, which can vary from wedding-related items needed for a memory game to art materials on one of the activities that require your guests’ creative juices. They may require more time and attention than the game on this page, but we’re pretty sure your guests will find them different and more enjoyable as well.
The game on this page is primarily a pen(cil)-paper game. It is one of the traditional bridal shower games, and though they won’t be called very exciting, we feel that your guests will find them a comfort to play, which will make it possible for them to gossip with the bride to be and other friends at the same time, which is definitely not a bad thing. Of course, there’s really no rule which says you only have to go one way (active games) or the other (traditional game). If a mix of the two will better suit your event, then we say go for it!

Another Twist For Games For A Bridal Shower Party:
Why go for the pen and paper game if you can go for the live spices and herbs version? You can still use our list of spices and herbs for reference, but of course you need to get the actual spice and herb if you decided that the live version is the better way to go.
The idea here is to prepare a number of spices and herbs and have your guests have a sniff or two and make a guess on what said spice is called. You can even turn it into a memory game, wherein aside from just making their best guess on what said spice is, they will even need to remember the number associated to said spice or herb. So what you need to have is a series of numbered boxes that will contain your spices/herbs, introduce each guests to each box, and later on ask them to write down their answers, which will include the name of the spice/herb and the number associated to it.
The player who have the most number of correct answers is of course your winner.
